This really wasn’t a question of should he buy the sign. It was more like a commercial for his business. Everyone that was listening wants to find this guy and see his hustle now…genius!

This guy has me re-thinking everything I ever belived about working. This dude works 2 days a week and lives the dream.

If you listen to the whole DR show, he said he works 2 days a week. As a street food vendor, I can tell you that he is open for business 2 days a week, but the rest of the week he is sourcing all the needed items. Then he will spend time putting together these gift baskets or learning everything he can about the cleaning supplies he sells the rest of the time so he can talk a good game.

Been listening to DR for over a decade, and these are my favorite calls. I LOVE calls like this!

When I worked at Capital One in Nyc, there was a street vendor outside our branch that sold peanuts. They do make a lot of money lol. He’d do these large cash deposits and his accounts were about $200k total. He ran about 3 carts in the area though

This is really impressive. I keep telling my kids, $1m is actually a very reasonably expectation for a small business. It’s amazing though he did this from a folding table in the side of the street. 1.5 out of a trailer… amazing.

lol and he's smart enough to get some free exposure/advertising with this call.

The customer service joke he made is... so accurate. These large stores are a mess. Wont pay enough to find people who give a shit. You'll find a gem every now and then.

Back in the good ol' 80's I worked for Sears. One of our most popular items was 40lbs box of laundry detergent. I don't know why Sears stopped selling that. Sears was one business that had no idea what their customers wanted.

Total respect to Michael and other
small vendors. I'd totally buy from him and I'm a tight wad. 😄😄😄

Could be counterfeit detergent, that is a big problem when it comes to the 5 gallon buckets. Be careful with that new large sign 😂.

It's black market/off brand detergent.

This. This right here is why America is the greatest country. If you stick to it, you can accomplish anything. This works in Philly not necessarily your quiet town. Way to go man

LOL I live around the Phillie, and I can 100% say he's doing a lot of other illegal stuff. You don't make 1.5 million dollars selling cleaning supplies in Phillie.

Let me tell u why this works... Nobody wants to carry those heavy bottles with normal groceries... He offers it direct to car to carry, people only have to bring in home without other heavy groceries! He combines comfort with logistics... Smart man

Dave never asked the question I wanted to hear: How do you purchase your supply so that you can sell cheaper than big box stores (stores who can purchase in millions of units). How is it possible he could beat a big box store on price?
