Bosch refrigerator troubleshooting

I am just a homeowner and I am not a repair technician. This video is just what I discovered while troubleshooting my personal fridge. Models will vary and I recommend talking to a local repair company in your area for help.

The freezer was working properly but the fridge not cooling below 45 degrees.

Take a look at fans, coils, and airflow panel.

Had this same issue and followed the steps in this video. Found the multi air duct flap was stiff so worked it back and forth then reinstalled. Seems to be working since reinstall. This problem can also cause the fridge to be too cold depending on which way the flapper is stuck whether it’s open or closed. The part # to replace if needed is 00678777. It is sold as an entire assembly and not just the vent flap.

Good info, thank you. From the vents in the upper portion of the fridge, there is ice forming. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good explanation, I need some information on a model that slightly different. Freezer and fridge are working well but I have what I think is a fan noise. The condenser fan is smooth and quiet, the fan that blows cold air into fridge seems to work and is quiet, and has good air flow but another fan (I believe) comes on and rattles quite loudly. It is louder when I open doors. I cannot find any diagrams or illustrations to assist me in location and removing noisy unit-or what is generating the rattling. It is definitely a rotational noise. Any help, would be greatly appreciated. It is a bosch model B22Ct80sns01

Thanks for uploading this great explanation. We have a 2019 Bosch B26FT50SNS/02. Icemaker stopped making ice, fridge too warm (50F, 10C), freezer too warm (15F, -8C). Freezer top compartment items frost covered.
How do I remove the top freezer basket to access the fan compartment?

Curious, have you had any other issues with the fridge? I've got a samsung that is nothing but problems and looking to replace it. Was thinking Bosch as an option but trying to figure out how reliable they are (or are not).

Hello, I have this same issue but the fan is not turning on to blow the air up into the fridge. I tried replacing the fan unit and didn’t work. Any suggestion on how to replace the thermostat or would it be a control board issue?

My fridge is giving an E2 error message. I’ve been doing some research on it and it basically says the temperature sensor isn’t working properly. Apparently it’s in the top right door frame. How do I change the temperature sensor?

My fridge is doing the same as others freezing items in all 3 drawers. Husband took all drawers out and the cover has no screwes but he reached in with fingers and felt something drop like flap. Out model is different B26FT70SNS/02 serial FD9105 after a fridge cleanout to check everything the compressor stopped running! Any suggestions?

Has anyone provided info on a fridge that is over cooling so that items in the fridge portion are freezing. From comments I see others have the same problem. When reviewing the video, a flapper in the freezer being stuck closed was one reason for the fridge to not cool since the cool air comes from the freezer and is blown into the fridge by fans. Is it possible that a too cold fridge is the result of a flapper stuck open?

the application I have on my fridge is that it cools fine but then it decides to cool to much and everything in the fridge freezes over vegetables sold ice. is that a defrost problem or electrical problem.
