My suggestion would be to blend the sauce with something. I use sour cream as a way to slightly tone down some instant noodle packs. Also makes the flavor better and a bit creamier. You can then add herbs/spices to the mixture to create something hot but wonderful.

this video is literally why i appreciate your channel so much!! i swear i’ve never seen a simpler way to season/marinate then bake chicken! everyone always tries to over complicate it or something but you just made it look supppperr easy with that quick toss into a big bowl method!! i know it’s not life altering or anything but it was so simple and easy! especially the cleanup part after which is why i’m commenting like this haha

Hey while watching this I got curious of using the spice sauce as/in a marinade for some chicken. Then maybe cook on a small Weber charcoal grill. I bet that flavor combination would really kick. I love sweet and spicy too. Cheers!
