Our focus in this video is to guide you through the entire process of KEA NEET UG Counselling 2023, beginning from the release of the merit list to declaring your choices for college and courses for the coveted Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission 2023. The merit list will comprise names of all eligible candidates. Candidates will then be required to declare their college and course choices.

This counselling is being held online, providing admission to various MBBS and BDS courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. This comprehensive counselling process comprises two rounds and a mop-up round if any seats remain vacant after the second round.

The video further explains the seat allocation. KEA conducts the Karnataka NEET 2023 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% private college seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) takes care of the remaining 15% of All India Quota seats. The total seats up for grabs are 10,995 for MBBS and 3,445 for BDS across medical colleges in the state.

Another eligibility factor is that the candidate and either of his/her parent's mother tongue should be Kannada/Tulu/Kodava, and the parent must be a domicile of Karnataka state.
