I admire dr. Trujillo’s enthusiasm for walking as an essential contributor to our health.
In another video on YouTube, he said that our mechanics are optimized for “being upright, moving forward, at a brisk pace”. So much wisdom and actionable info in so few words.

Great tips! I have one to add I live in Austin and the temps can get pretty high here. Walking in high temps isn't always ideal, so try adding in a water sport instead. My wife and I went Kayaking this Saturday and it was perfect for getting our bodies going and staying cool!
