As a Pole - definite no on architecture! There's much more wooden structures in the east vs. red brick in the west and some limestone in the center, the houses are smaller in the east and much more neo-classical than neo-gothic (if you see the latter, you're most definitely in the western part).
Also, the roads are of much higher quality in the west than in the east which should be a useful hint for you, geoguessr players.

Geoguesser is quite popular in Poland and Poles often play on only Poland map by learning various metas and also simply learning our geography.

Agreed on Russia. It seems almost impossible to guess the right region unless you're plopped down in the middle of a well known city center.

i knew Poland was gonna be in this video as a polish person trying to regionguess (especially cause i tried it today too). if you don't have hills or mountains it is EXTREMELY difficult. i find the north east to be the most recognizable second to mountainous/hilly Poland

Strange, north vs south Colombia is one of the easiest regional guess imho. North is much drier and much flatter, quite obvious. Sure, there are some outlyers but 80% of the time it's trivial.

Finland should be on the list, looks exactly the same from the south all the way up to the lapland region, where it starts looking different. Very little meta to guess off of, probably one of the hardest countries to regionguess
