How to stay up late from a pro (my parents are sneaky, I am only 13 and I outsmart them)

1: if they allow you to charge your devices in your room, use that to your advantage, leave the device where it is after turning on Bluetooth, use one pair of a wireless AirPod or anything you prefer, but NEVER and I mean NEVER use the one for the ear closer to the door, if you use Apple AirPods and they have Apple devices, turn off your AirPods on all devices but yours before bed.


2: If you have a dog or cat and they look out your bedroom door, hide the AirPod, 9/10 times your parents are coming.


3: If you need to change out the AirPod because it died, be sneaky, always keep a drink in front of the AirPod case, for example a metal water bottle and use that as cover.



4: If you get caught, say you were checking the time or anything except admit guilt.



5: If you normally use a nightlight, use it, if you don’t normally use a nightlight, then don’t, just copy your normal bedtime routine.



6: If you take medication to help you sleep, such as melatonin, pretend to take it, but secretly don’t, after you do that, go to the bathroom and either use it or pretend to, right before you flush put the medicine in the toilet and flush, if you do it before you use it, it will get stuck and you will have to move it manually.



7: always have a second device hidden for if you get caught your first one gets taken away.



8: If you do look at the screen, make sure that your parents are asleep, or if they aren’t than do it quickly, for 5 seconds or less.



9: If you followed all my steps, you should have made it, to survive the day you will need a cup of coffee if your parents allow it, if not than get anything with caffeine when you start to fall asleep.

Other tips:Put a black shirt on the gaps under the door so it doesn't look so light or turn of the brightness on ur phone and try headphones❤
