I found that all nighters should be pulled the night before the night before the test so I get better sleep before the test and I can think straight

The best time for me to study is early in the mornings - it's always peaceful and quiet. I usually sleep by 9pm and wake up around 3-4am to study until 3-4pm for my a levels. I study even if I don't have motivation because I always wake up with determination, complete my tasks then I go to bed with satisfaction.😊

Nothing cures exam stress and a lot of mental breakdowns (me) more than cuddles with the pupper/s. My dog knows when I’m stressed and when I’m studying. She just lies on my bed keeping watch.

Hey girl, I get it. I am a 16 year old nursing student, and while I have never done an all nighter, those lectures are difficult to do. Great job and keep going!

I don't mind doing hw past midnight, but I failed one of my pharm exams from studying until 1-2am the night before the exam. I have 1 semester left of nursing school, and I give God the glory for helping me thus far. My biggest advice is when you know that your brain can't take any more, please sleep. That might be 10pm or 3am for you, for me midnight was the limit.. I found I could then wake up early the morning of the exam and study a bit more.

1.Separate studying into chunks. Studying for long periods is very difficult so I break up the total time into smaller blocks of time. For example, I will study 3 hours in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, and 2 at night for a total of 8.

2. Mix difficult tasks with easier ones in
between. Since some tasks are inherently more taxing than others, separate difficult ones with easier passive studying (like notetaking, flashcards, or watching educational videos). You'll get less burnt out and exhausted.

3. Take longer breaks. A lot of the time people recommend 5-10 minute breaks but on days when I study for 8 hours I will take 15 minute long breaks and sometimes even 30 minutes if I'm feeling very tired. The key thing is endurance, so don't feel bad if you need a longer break to re-energize yourself.

4. Use physical movement and screen time breaks, I try to read during my study breaks and go for a long walk between study sets. This gets my body moving instead of sitting so long, and the fresh air energizes me. Also, reading rests my eyes after staring at a screen for almost an hour.

5. Work up to 8 hours. If you are not used to sitting that much or focusing for such a long time, it is best to work up to 8 hours. Along with breaking the 8 hours into smaller chunks. start with a smaller goal, like 4 hours, and gradually build up to longer study days when your discipline and endurance is stronger.

Little tip here I would study over the semester like after you take a test on something, make sure to correct your mistakes and keep studying the material and adding whatever chapters you do every single time you end chapter until you get to the exam and I would study throughout the day, and then make sure to get a good nights, sleep, and self-care before you go to bed the sleep part is very important
