I have just had the first service done on my 450MT, I did the first 600 miles in 2 weeks, I can't stay off it, it is a fantastic bike, . The power and torque figures are 60% of aT7, but it feels more like 80%, I have come off a T7 World Raid and the fun factor is so much more on the MT. At £5699 it is a bargain.

I think it’s an excellent real world bike. I have just got back from a week away in eastern France and southern Germany with a quick visit to Austria and Liechtenstein thrown in. Yesterday I rode home from Alsace to south western France. I rode 750 km on D roads and had a great ride. By keeping off the main roads I was empty roads for most of the day, sheer bliss. There is no need to have a big powerful bike and use motorways to cover big distances. My 500X has a range of over 300 miles but I normally stop more frequently than that so always have plenty in reserve. Yesterdays average mpg was 3.1 litres to 100 km and that’s high 80s mpg. These middleweight bikes are really the way forward.

Strangely enough I have just returned from an 8 months journey that took me to Turkey, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran, Afghanistan etc… on a 650 Vstrom, no issues really apart from struggling a little off-road so I tested the MT450 the other day and have already ordered one. I have rode around the world many times on different bikes but the MT is exactly what I have been looking for. Can’t wait to head to India with it next April.

looks like they may have a winner on their hands and might be the bike that brings CFmoto general acceptance into the biking world and hopefully it will push the other manufacturers into looking at what they are building and the pricing

What a bike! Sounds like it’s going to make a lot of riders (and pillions?) happy. Another good, honest, review. Thanks Nathan. Les

Just what I'd expect from him. A no nonsense review. Good bike, what's not to like?

So cool how you offer your bikes for people to get a decent testride. I'd happily pay money to get a proper test ride before I put a deposit on at the dealer

Been following your channel which I found out about this bike. Really do appreciate your honest approach and remind me of many experienced bikers I have met over the years. Being new to bikes this means a lot. I had not originally considered this bike over the 310 GS, but the slight difference in weight has me re thinking it for a first, and keeper bike.

These certainly do look amazing and perform well .
I read a comment on another video saying that they were struggling to sell the Honda crf300l and suspected the CF moto was the reason why

If i wasnt so emotionally invested in my 2022 KTM 390 Adventure, id buy one of these in a heartbeat. My Mrs bought me my 390 after i tortured myself over buying ANOTHER unescessary bike and i love it dearly. Never been like that with a bike before.

Hopefully these bike will open the eyes of bigger manufacturers.

The only problem seems to be getting one! If I were to replace my 411 itfeels like the 450MT would be a better choice than the 450 Himalayan. The fuel economy difference works out to under £20/1000 miles which is a small price to pay for all the advantages

Not uncommon for companies in China to call the founding director “Uncle”. I’ve worked with several companies where this has been the case. I even managed Uncle status in once company but that’s because I was really old.LOL

I'm absolutely loving mine. Unfortunately, due to a recent motorbike accident, I can't take it off road yet but it's great fun on the road, and the handling seems far better than it ought to be for a 21" front wheeled bike. Engine is a masterpiece.
Only thing I would say, 15t front sprocket is an absolute must.

Just noticed uncle wang does auxiliary fuel tanks, that go on the side of the seat unit, 7 litres I believe

Thanks for the review, very clear on the positives of the bike. Will wait to see how you found it off road.. look forward to watching that.

The fairing and side plastic look good. Attractive bike. I wil be interested in seeing how reliable it is.

Cracking review Nathan, real world no BS straight to the point 👍

Even with a seat cover I get a numb ass on my CRF in 20 miles. This would be the next bike I buy but need to scratch an itch for a Urban GS - got a soft spot for that air-cooled boxer engine
