You can buy these gaffs. If you want you can split the cards so you don't a thickness issue. That will take more time either way you don't want the cards examined by your spectator unless you're able too switch them out with non gaffed cards.

Hey rich, nice card trick. You can stick a very time piece of transparent scotch tape on any side of the card ( the ten or the queen ) and that way when u want to show the card to the spectators then u can feel the tape on the card and without looking at the card you will know which side you are supposed to show the spectators...
