I do an older variation. Your card gets picked by my random reversed card. Same principle. Less moves. Takes about 15 seconds from 'pick a card any card.'

Can't you do it with a farro shuffle instead.. Ive seen this kind of principle somewhere..
The klondike shuffle looks too mathy..

Great tutorial man oh & if anyone is curious you must have 52 cards or it wont work throws the math off I think

I like to do this exact trick, but after counting to the card, i recount them thus getting it to the bottom of the new pile. I then get them to make a first place them in between the pointer and middle finger. Tells the spectator to hold it tight but not too tight.(Thats the risky part cuz it can fail.) Show them the original pile doesnt have their card, then say so its in your hand but its not theese, then slap directly down, then due to friction there will only be one card in their hand and you now look like a Marvelous mighty god of unforeseen awesomeness... Good luck finding a follow up, i havent so i use it as an end game 😆

Klondike shuffle? You're saying Solitaire has its own shuffle? I mean to be fair it'd mix them pretty damn good in a solved state, considering you just stack the Ace-King stack on top of each other so it does make sense :')

Explanation: Let x be the number of removed cards. Before the Klondike shuffle, the number of cards below yours is 26-x, so after the Klondike shuffle this becomes 2(26-x). Therefore, the number of cards *not* below yours is the total remaining cards less this amount, or (52-x)-2(26-x)=52-x-52+2x=x, so the xth card is your card.
