Students in the Carpentry 1 course will build upon their prior knowledge on proper safety and equipment usage, as well as squaring lumber and project workflow, through the completion of the Quilt Rack project.

Equipment students will use include:
DeWalt 12" Sliding Miter Saw
Powermatic 8" Jointer
SawStop Table Saw
Delta 15" Planer
Haas SR100 CNC Sheet Router
Timesaver Wide Belt Sander
Porter Cable 1 3/4 HP Router
Jet 14" Band Saw

Hi, how many years does it take to finish these studies? And what other activities are involved? (actually, I want to find out how much actual work and how much general maths, physics and alike are involved) :)

All that fancy equipment and then you whip out drywall screws.... 
(NO, they are not the same as / as good as wood screws)
