Nintendo NX Will Help Gaming Industry Grow Says CEO

The next Nintendo console, currently going by the codename of Nintendo NX, has yet to be revealed to the public, but several development teams and publishers obviously know about some of its features. Earlier today, Ubisoft CEO shared his feelings on the next Nintendo console and how it can impact the industry in the near future.
During Ubisoft’s financial conference call for the first quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot talked about the Nintendo NX, stating that what they have seen so far of the console is really great. Guillemot also notes how having this machine coming is going to help the industry growing as well as take a lot of casual players back in the industry. This final statement is definitely interesting, as it seems to suggest that the console will have some sort of feature that will attract casual players, like the Wii console did a few years back.

It's trying to bring back the casuals. That's the crowd they lost with the WiiU. So not saying anything about a core audience when you really think about it. Also the credit is not just Nintendo. The studio behind the game has been formed within Google (is it coincidence they use something that has a streetview and maps functionality? )

I am a fan of a Nintendo and Sony and own a PS4 and a Wii U I have to say I love the Wii U exclusives and such but I really hope the NX doesn't flop like the Wii U did
