What did everyone think of The Forgotten?

Fun fact about the Joker dream sequence: That's not Mark Hamill doing the voice, but Kevin Conroy in probably the only time he's ever played the character.

Alfred: "Land, you bucket of bolts!"
Bat-Plane: "Your funeral."

Still my favourite line.

What I love about this episode is it shows that Bruce isn't just using his money to fight crime. He knows that he also has to solve the underlying problem that creates crime.

I like the line at the end.

When the friends find out the mysteries man with amnesia is Bruce Whane.

“Punch me”.

“punch you why”

“Maybe the next time I wake up I’ll be a billionaire as well.”

I love episodes that dive into Bruce himself instead of him just being Batman all the time.

3:06 Well no wonder every 90's kid has a hard time seeing anyone as a good live-action Batman. THE POWER CHIN

The moment of Bruce shedding a tear as he tries to help the panhandlers is amazing. No other example of Batman in media (outside the comics) has gotten the Bruce Wayne aspect of the character down so well too.

Episodes like this one really captured the Heart and Soul of Batman... that fact that a DC Super Hero Cartoon series was not afraid to face the Shadow of the Psyche, the tenderness of the Philanthropist Bruce Wayne, and unsettling aspects like poverty and abuse of Power of Gotham City, made this series such a cutting-edge and heart-rending series. Very few day-time cartoon Batman Series as well as Superhero series, in general, can come close to this one!

For over 25 years this harmonica song has been stuck in my head.

I had mini arguments with people who say Bruce could do more for the people of Gotham but the fact that this episode shows perfectly that no matter how hard you try you can't save or help everyone no matter how rich you are. Bruce isn't selfish and the fact he's being forced to face this reality was heart wrenching.

Love this episode. Very underrated. Bruce goes undercover to find missing people in the ghetto Gorham until he was kidnapped and been force labor along with the missing people by a fat slog leader in the cayons. I enjoy the premise and especially that moment where Batman goes deep inside thinking and discover few details that make it much development for Batman's character. I love that moment where Bruce wanted to save and give people to the poor, but he was suffered for seeing many people wanted to have much charity and tears have so much emotional. At least at the end, he face the fat slog and the goons in the under tunnel. Great episode and recommend it.

Bruce goes undercover with having a color dyeing in a white hair. Nice.

The DC Animated Universe just makes me sad thinking about the DC cinematic universe failures. It was all right there. They didn’t have to even try.

The fact he barely reacted to the joker dream but he cried not being able to the panhandlers really does say a lot about our boy. Bruce is one of the smartest men in comics but he's also one of the most human by heart too.

This episode was worth it purely for Bruce's dream where we got to hear Kevin Conroy doing his take on the Joker laugh.

I swear, this episode was done when they had Tim Curry as Joker. Conroy's dream Joker is him trying to be Curry's Pennywise!

It’s amazing how what wakes Bruce up from his nightmare isn’t the joker, or falling but the thought that he cannot save all the needy. 🥺
