It's so cute that she's the only one that got the joke at first. That's amore right there.

You know you're doin something right when your wife can catch a joke instantly, and tell you it was a bad one. That's real love right there Lol

The way Matt says ‘yep’ after Marisha mentions the Coronas, you can tell he’s delighted that they get the reference

I thought "Oh, a crisis around the bakery. Croissants aren't doing good." but it goes deeper than that, ducey.

There is something very cute that his wife picks up on the joke first.

1.) *_"That's so stupid. It's a dumb joke."_** --* Props to Marisha Ray (Laudna) for catching Matt Mercer's (the Dungeon Master) joke immediately; where-as the rest of the Critical Role cast took a while to catch-on/-up. *:)*

2.) *_"We don't want your Moon Bread! Only Freedom Bread!"_** --* For context to Liam O'Brien's (Orym) joke, for those who do not know American political history and the petty stupidity of American Republican politicians... *;)*
- a.) Back in *2003, * with the [Iraq War (or 'Second Gulf War'), 2003-2011], France objected to and opposed the invasion of Iraq as part of the United Nations, fearing the triggering a wider conflict/war.
- b.) In an act of political theater, U.S. Congress Chairman of House Administration, Bob Ney (House Republican of Ohio), used _(abused)_ his authority to force the cafeterias of U.S. Congress to re-label _"French Fries"_ to _"Freedom Fries", _ making a media show of the re-labeling, hoping it would catch on and thus boost his political popularity and standing. It (obviously) did not.
- c.) Nonetheless, the U.S. Congress cafeterias would have to endure Ney's idiocy until 2006, when Ney resigned due to bribery scandal(s) and indictment(s). The U.S. Congress cafeterias all immediately changed their menus back to 'French Fries' the day after Ney left office, and Ney's petty stupidity was relegated to a footnote of mockery of U.S. political history.
