I realize that a lot of people don't understand the significance of Black History month and are ignorant of many things. The fact that most of you don't know there are in fact celebratory months such as Hispanic heritage month and other months for Native Americans and Asian Americans to remember and honor their ancestors trials and tribulations in this land is disheartening. The education systems have failed you. They have taught you history from the winning side and you don't understand balance. Be empathetic to your neighbor and respectful and humble of others and the challenges they face. Be kind to fellow man. This is the basis for understanding what the video is actually about. Some of you are being little baby bigots and I urge you to research and step away from your toxic thought processes to see the truth of the matter before spouting off your disgusting predictable racist dialogue that you repeat time and time again. We are all tired of it.

I don't understand understand why we have black history month, black history IS American history, simple as that. Do you know that the first Africans arrived in 1619? 12 friggin years after the founding at Jamestown. Don't you dare tell me that black history isn't American history. Hell, if black folks never (unfortunately) came here, America would be a completely different country. Now I'm not trying to score "brownie points" with blacks folks or nothing but when you look at American history without black folks, EVERYTHING changes. That's why black history IS American history.
