To test out the new Snapdragon X Elite chip and how it works with CoPilot Plus PCs and Windows on ARM, I decided to go all-in. I used the Snapdragon-powered Dell XPS 13 (9345) exclusively as my work and personal laptop for a little over a week. Here’s what I learned: the good, the bad, and the surprising bits of Windows on ARM in 2024!

I have been using SL7 for a while now. I have all the needed apps. Actually ARM windows 11 seems SOOOO snappier and faster on usage. Google Drive is due next month on ARM and apart from that I didn't have any misses except for graphics performance. If you are skeptical about any apps let me know.

In my opinion battery life, weight and build quality are very important when it comes to laptops. ARM laptops are the future.
When it comes to gaming, except for FPS that need that super quick reaction, one could use NVIDIA GeForce Now. I've been using the free version for some time now, and I'm very happy with it. No need to carry my super heavy gaming laptop around anymore.

This video was released 5 hours ago according to what YouTube it's telling me now if I know that Google drive for arm is coming. Surely the guy that makes videos for a living about this stuff should know it's coming but he keeps referencing it being a deal-breaker

I already have Windows x86 at home with my Intel NUC, so I am more than ready to go Windows ARM. Qualcomm even publishes a page showing all the softwares that supports Windows ARM, and there's a lot of them.

Stay, I've been on Lenovo 7x slim and it's refreshing having multi day battery life and very decent Lightroom (prism) performance. It is an Actually quiet and cold laptop.

Only issue was Google drive, but Google finally announced arm drive build by end of the year

I got the lenovo yoga slim 7x snapdragon.fortunately the programs I use run natively. Im not a gamer but will look fo some arm native games just to try out. I use office, Affinity and davinci resolve and the all work well, I sold my lenovo i7 and use my lenovo yoga when I'm on the road. If I need power I use my asus proart desktop. Just waiting till snapdragom come in desktop. The fact that I travel lite with lenovo Yoga and my battery lasts a least a day or more made it a no brainer. Of course I got the lenovo with 32gb ram.

It's obvious that if MS wants to SPY and record you screens with recall, the very least they need is to make it usable. Otherwise they won't have anything to record and spy on.
Also, here... take my dislike. Anyone who fails to warn their users about it on an efficient manner gets one. Congratulations.
