There's a true story about an African Grey parrot named Bud who solved a murder by reenacting the wife killing her husband. They _almost_ put the parrot on the witness stand during the trial and I REALLY wish they had. Lmfao

The whole show is geared to be dramatic and comical. The overacting is all part of that. Makes a refreshing change from all the horror of mothers killing babies in the cutrent true crime genre. I'm loving these.

Tacky wardrobes, terrible acting, atrocious attempts at southern accents and sayings. I love this show lol.

I wish they just released all the episodes they have in one big playlist already. One of the goats of true crime.

Personally, I think DNA is remarkable, and I’m so happy that Scientists were able to develop it. Just today, I watched a story of a 19 year old man, who lived in a small rural town. Everyone knew everyone. His mom was brutally murdered in the the early 80’s, and the police got tunnel vision, deciding that her son did it, and with 80’s technology, he was convicted. After being in prison for 9 years, in the late 80’s, he resubmitted the blood work to check DNA, and it showed conclusively, that it is *NOT* his *DNA.* He was released, but was shunned by the whole town, he along with his wife, and family. No one would either look them in the eye, or if they did, it was only to glare at them. People he had known since he was a kid, wouldn’t interact with them at all. He couldn’t find a job in the town, so they lived with family, and eked out a living. He was compensated somewhat by the town, and maybe some half hearted apology. I think the detective who drilled him the most, never really acknowledged him. One day his son came home from kindergarten, and his son told him that a kid said “I know why your dad was in prison. He killed your mommy.” His reputation was destroyed.

😢🤬🫢🤬

He’s lucky that the didn’t decide to give him the death penalty, huh. Just saying. If you just want to know who it was, let me know.

They then fast forward to now, and he’s a firefighter, and along with his wife, being able to take care of their family on their own.
🥳🥳🥳🥳

These two videos were hysterically funny except for the murders of Lester and Big Daddy, may they Rest in Peace. When Detective Peacock, haha, interviewed the first suspect, his alibi was the gun club Seniors for Shotguns, I was ROFL. I like the way the stories are told and the retired FBI agent delivered all the Southern sayings perfectly!
Boy, those cousins aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

I love this guy's attitude. Cynical: check and since I spent most time in the south, I'm like YES this dude is awesome!

They keep showing the husband talking on a flip phone. They didn't have those back in the early to mid 80s. Early cell phones were huge and clunky. I'm not even sure that cell phones were invented yet in 1984. Back then the big thing was car phones.

They really overdid it with the southern style of talking.

With all the 'robbery gone wrong' murders that aren't, i wonder if there ever are murders committed when robbers are caught in the act, or whatever.

🤨🤨 I just don’t see nothing COMICAL about an innocent person being murdered ‼️👎🏾

This is too cheesy and corny for me. Don't get me wrong I don't like the channels that add a lot of unnecessary dramatic blood and crap, Coffeehouse Crime is my go to channel!

IMO, I don’t really know what type that of bird, but it didn’t look like a lovebird to me. Even when they cut away to show the bird is eating, didn’t look like a lovebird either. I wonder why they just didn’t call it a parrot, for God’s sake. The fake bird look more like a parrot, then a lovebird. 😂😂

Interesting, but the stuffed "pets" were kind of weird. I suppose that it was easier that way!
