I think the iPhone Ultra will be a separate phone model, just like the iPhone X was at its time, a "prototype" of what is to come, one that Apple could not guard anymore for themselves and just had to release along iPhone 8.

IF they actually made an iPhone Pro Max that was red, I would buy that one in a heartbeat. I get so jealous of the cheaper models every year but can't bring myself to not get the Pros lol.

The iPhone SE (not 1st gen) Home button is amazingly good at faking the button being pressed down with haptic feedback. It’s really a non-moving pressure-sensitive seamless depression on casing. Smart to use it for side buttons to get rid a few more moving parts and seams in casing. Note that with iPhone SE, entire screen is pressure sensitive for 3D Touch. The current higher-end iPhones have Haptic Touch which does a similar trick with a touch-hold (not pressure sensitive). Both ways use haptic feedback.

The high-end 15 iPhones seem to be a much bigger upgrade this year than the 14s were last year. Large enough in fact (the periscope zoom in particular) that I intend on finally upgrading from my ancient 8 Plus! 😁

I just want a camera that will take a focussed picture when my hands aren't the steadiest, and I would love it if I could take pictures of my knit projects and have them look the same color as the real yarn. It is impossible to get a true rendition of a blue sweater with my iPhone 11.

I don't usually follow rumors, but I'd love to have an iPhone with USB-C, so finally I can bring one charger with me for my laptop and phone (well, I can already do that with Android phones, but it'll be nice to extend that to Apple products). But I don't know about touch-based volume buttons.

I also like the blue color on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I guess there won't be a perfect iPhone for me.

The pro models are suppose to be dark mutted colors for the reason being they're much more professional looking. I don't want to carry around a bright colorful phone. I want something sophisticated and timeless. That bright pink and blue does not look like any of the above.

They tried a bright colorful blue on the 13 pro and it flopped so much, its the reason they made the purple darker and subdued. The purple looks beautiful!

I also wish the pro models didnt have the darker muted colors. I enjoyed the light blue from the 13 Pro and would buy that again. I would really like a bright color though like the lower end models get. I guess the pro is suppose to look more fancy, but meh. Give me the bright colors lol

It’s not getting the solid state buttons anymore which I love and the standard 15 and 15+ are getting the slate glass back that the 15 pro and pro max are getting

IMO it's highly unlikely that they will ship an iPhone with USB-C, whats more likely is future iPhones won't have a port at all and all charging will be wireless.

Switched from iPhone 13 Pro Max to a Samsung S22 Ultra and have been loving it. Customiaztions are amazing. Still like iPhones though, but they'll need to come out with something unique and orignal to get me to switch back.

I've owned both base and pros. Back to 12, blue. Love it. See no huge difference between base and pros. The 12 fits in the hand and is feather light.
