You had Airplane Mode on for the 15 Pro Max. Maybe that’s why the results were like that.

Remember that the iPhone 16 pro Max has a higher battery capacity. So 50% is not the same amount of battery as the others.

Got my 15 pro max last year for the USBC. I know it shouldn’t even be considered an upgrade. But this year. The charging speed is just as slow. Really feeling the insult and a iPhone user since the 3G

The iPhone 16 pro max battery is almost 9% more mAh than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Add that to the extra 3% the 16 charged vs 14 and you’re looking at some decent increases in charging speeds.

You should do about 20% to 80% as a lot of us now stop charging at 80% to increase our battery health by two times and very few of us will go below 20% as that is long-term damaging to the battery. These 0-100% are sort of meaningless these days.

Supposedly the 45w changing will be activated by iOS 18.2 and the hardware can support it already but the software is limiting it. Not sure if this is true but sharing this

A little bit of misinformation here, as Apple never claims 45W. That’s just what was rumored by everyone else.

It does not cost you significantly extra to get a USB-C power reader instead of guessing or doing extra leg work to assume the devices are not charging at their rated power...Power-Z KM003C also graphs the charge speed over time so you can monitor it closely. This test is not a good basis for determining charging input of the phones.

IPhone 16 pro max looks like the battery🔋is not going to be as good as they say;you should of put the iPhone 13pro in with these because my iPhone 13pro charges very fast and within 45 minutes it over 80%

Can you use a voltage digital meter on the usb C adapter to see the wattage being used.

My 12 pro charges to 50-55% in 30 mins as well. I guess it’s the same across all models.

@iDeviceHelp, If you recall Dude, I commented in your very first unboxing video for iPhone 16 series that the whole 16 series is charging at the same slow speed 29W and also requested to double check at your end! thanks for making this video as your confirmation! Very disappointed with apple this year for 2 main reasons 1) slow wired charging speed and 2) loose motion display on iPhone 16 and 16 plus in 2024, that's unacceptable at all, shame on you apple!!!
