I met Chris Farley in a deli. He was eating a bowl of soup in a booth with a friend, laughing and talking, just a regular dude. I never do this, but I had to walk up to him and tell how him much I admired him and his comedy. So glad I did, because he stopped and gave me his full attention and shook my hand like he was actually glad to see this stranger interrupting his meal. His warmth and sincerity is what I will always remember about that brief but memorable interaction. Chris Farley was top notch, and I miss him.

interestingly, chris used to go to old folks' homes and nursing homes and visit with older people just out of the kindness of his heart.

How could you NOT miss Chris Farley?
He was so in tune with not only himself but everyone else he worked with.

Michael Keaton is a very diverse actor, he can go from Beetlejuice to Batman. Now that's talent.

The good ole days of SNL Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider etc wow that lineup was the lineup of legends.

My mom was actually kind of like this before she passed away with dementia. She wanted me to be there with her 24/7 and didn't trust anyone else with anything. One day I was doing something in another room while she was in bed and she started yelling and crying "Sunny! Sunny! I want my Sunny!" Even though she was surrounded by nurses who could have done anything she needed. When I came back she hugged me and apologized for "being a big baby" and I said it was ok and I was sorry for being away so long and scaring her.

My Grandpa was a Manager for LA Kings… I was lucky enough to meet Chris when I was a child. He even bought me a Big Mac from the McDonalds inside Icoplex . Even though I was only 12, I could realize and understand that Chris was just an amazingly friendly, DTE, and generous person.
There was a kid trying to get his skates fixed in the shop there… Chris was there and noticed. He bought the kid a brand new pair of the top line BAUER’s at the time. Secretly too… he had already paid and left before the kid even knew what was going on ! LoL. Amazing guy

Chris Farley was one of the best physical comedians ever born. I miss him. My favorite skit was the one where he and Patrick Swayze were auditioning for the Chippendales. I don’t know how Swayze kept a straight face.

The acting in this skit is so great. I bet the people who watched it live didn't even realize the level of performance these guys had at the time. The guys today could only dream of ever being this good.

Chris Farley automatically props up a mediocre skit.
He could just stand there and I'd laugh from watching him alone.
He's as sweet as he is funny too.

Farley was taking what looked and sounded like real hits..as a stage actor who does combat..that hit to the back and backward face punch definitely made contact...even when he fell from the table he looked pained..that man was a comedic genius who put his body through so much..
