Tetra® – How To Get The Most Vibrant GloFish® Tank

Ultra-colorful and bright, GloFish® can transform any tank into a mesmerizing experience, and with a little work, you can make your tank even more brilliant.

Since GloFish® require blue lights to fluoresce, adding GloFish® sticks in mixed white & blue or pure blue LEDs will help do the trick.

Plus, consider placing your tank in a darker room, or adding a GloFish® Aquarium Background, to help enhance the GloFish® lighting effect even more.

How you set up your GloFish® tank can also have an impact. You can either decorate with a rainbow of colors, adding plants and decor that react to the GloFish® LED Lighting. Or, you can use dark or neutral decor, letting the fish be the stars of the show.

Finally, using the GloFish® food and care regimen can also help enhance the color of your fish, because the proprietary formula in each product optimizes brightness, helping to create the ultimate GloFish® experience!

Add the new silicone fake glo-jellyfish. They attach with fishline and suction cups to the glass.
Water movement makes them move around. I have a 30 gallon tall tank with 7 glo jellyfish and 9 glofish with 3 filters and one small airline. Also 5-6 glo plants (artificial) and Aqueon T8 Actinic Blue Light Fluorescent Aquarium Lamp. 8-10 hours a day, no more

I upgraded from the stock tank kit lights to the 8 inch blue light bar on my 10 gallon Glofish Tank Kit that I use at my work. Definitely lights up more. Tetra could greatly improve the stock lighting by simply switching the two stock white LEDs for blue ones (having 4 small blue LEDs spaced out differently would light up the aquarium and really make the colors pop. The white lights are worthless in a Glofish tank setup IMHO. I do enjoy my Glofish tank though and have a few vids of it.

Nice I have the 10 gallon Glofish Tank Kit (as seen on my channel) with the upgraded 8 inch Blue LED light. Just a note on the Glofish tank kits, Tetra could significantly improve the lighting by ditching the stock white lights and just going with all Blue. The white lights just make it look terrible. Liked and Subscribed.

2 of my tetras died within 10 hours, and then another died. I would not recommend the tetras, the other glofish have long life expansion, such as 2-3 years.

I hope the next new glofish will be a blue florescent goldfish.
Someone needs to genetically modified every animal in the aquarium or pond trade by injecting jellyfish gene into their eggs to produce a red, blue, purple, green, pink, or yellow glowing fluorescent fish, snail, shrimp, lobster, crab, frog, turtle, coral.
