What's goin' on, Nerds?! Welcome back, my name is Sned! Guys...I've struggled with this mod, too. It's so hard to find any information on it! So, hopefully this video helps answer a few questions and lets you jump into the basics. If you'd like more information, just let me know! Maybe I'll even make a part 2 going into more detail, if needed.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy! Leave a "like" if you liked it, subscribe if you didn't (don't question it) and please...Enjoy the episode!

Follow me on Twitch! I'll be going live an hour after this uploads!

Thanks to all the cool people in my Discord that have loaned me their voices for the intro! If you want to come hang out, come join the Discord!

This video has taken me from novice to apprentice level all by itself for this mod, thank you.

To anyone watching now, Iron hammers require a tier 2 hammer to make so you cant make them with the normal wooden hammer, just make a copper hammer first which only requires a tier 1 hammer and then with the copper hammer you can make an iron hammer.

I've been really struggling with this mod, but it seems to be tinkers main competition so it's about time I got comfortable with it, this has been really helpful at getting me started

first of all, thank you for this video.
what i have seen so far is that this acts a bit like tinkers construct, but on steroids.
complex? yes
useful? no doubt about it

its nice to see a mod going the same routa as tinkers, but has a very new and refreshing spin at modding tools and gear.

Very handy if I ever decide to get started with this mod.

The spead should be held like a spear and not an item, I wish.

Also, this mod definitely needs a guide book bundled with it like in Tinker's constructs.

I'm pretty sure this is the video I watched in the beginning when I was new to blacksmithing in tetra. Thanks for the help. I mastered Tetra a long time ago and I'm pretty sure this was one of the keys to do it

late to the party but it seems you can get behind ancient schematics and use a claw to take them down properly and reassemble. Thanks for the vid, helped me get off the ground

Its complicated but it adds so much more depth to a really simple system, which I like

30:10 this is where tetra goes from fair and balanced to making what most games would consider to be legendary tools just by playing!

Thanks for this vid. I'm not creative at all and I didn't know what a good example was of an endgame pickaxe so I'm for sure yoinking the one you showed here.

Nice video there Sned! Touched on most of the basics but really just scratched the surface of this amazing mod.

Thanks for posting this! As you say, there's not much information out there about Tetra, so I learned a lot just watching this. I still struggle a bit with what materials are worth making tools, weapons, bows and shields out of, because the amount of options is just too much (especially in a modpack like Valhelsia 5) and it's hard to decide which stats are more important.

On the note of important stats, I never understood exactly how enchanting works with Tetra. It seems some materials allow you to add more enchants to that part, but I can't tell how high the number has to be to allow more than one enchant. 🤔

kinda late but this helped me a bit cause the new updates made the mod even more confusing like Im still trying to figure out how to "empower" stonecutter/earthpiercer with echo shards

You need a claw to take down ancient schematic extractors. Get behind it and right click the back of them

31:28 yes you can't repair them in an anvil but that removes the exp cost completely!
