For me, clone is a disappointing trend. If buying a niche would cause me financial difficulty, I would choose not to buy it rather than buy its boring replica.

Realy love this video Peter! Great choices. I made my list in Euro and with current prices and discounts. I actualy will not use catagories, because looking at my picks, they all are all year, all occassions scents. Also I look at this budget as where I got this money left to spend on fragrances, beside what I got for regular budgets. Playing it safe.
These are my choices:
- Montale Greyland € 115, -. I just can't have a collection without this one, but it does effect my budget big time which I will straighten out later on.
- Chanel Platinum Égoïste € 85, - at a discount, which is great because finding a Chanel at discount is rare. It is my signature scent together with the Greyland, so it has to be in it.
- Geoffrey Beene Eau de Grey Flannel € 25, -. And with this one the fun begins. It is not 1 on 1 simular to Chanel Platinum Égoïste, but it does have simularities and the same vibe to it and it realy is great qualilty for the money. In and around the house I wear this one and going somewhere I'll be wearing the Chanel. This way I can safe money to buy Chanel Pour Monsieur later on when I got the money to buy it. This is my way to handle the money within my scent-budget. Every month new money gets into it, untill the point I can buy again.
- So... to make my € 250, - complete, the last one will be also a Geoffrey Beene; Grey Flannel € 21, -. Awesome quality for the price, same as his brother Eau de Grey Flannel. Also being scents from respectively 1975 and 1997, they both did stand the test of time realy well.
Leaves me € 4, - to get me a snack. I think I'll get a "kroket" and a "frikandel".
