This video is helpful to pharmacy students who are dealing with Pharmaceutics.Soft gelatin capsules, also known as softgels or soft elastic capsules, are hermetically sealed one-piece capsules containing a liquid or a semisolid fill without a bubble of air or gas. They are made from a more flexible, gelatin film plasticized by the addition of glycerine, sorbitol, or a similar polyol.

Manufacturing Process:
Step 1: Preparation of the gelatin solution (dipping solution) ...
Step 2: Dip-coating the gelatin solution on to metal pins (moulds) ...
Step 3: Rotation of the dip-coated pins. ...
Step 4: Drying of the gelatin-coated pins. ...
Step 5: Stripping and trimming. ...
Step 6: Joining of the trimmed capsule shell. ...
Step 7: Printing.
