In this video I will explain a triad tensor “matrix”. In this video I will concentrate on the subscript notations of the “pages”. (A triad is a tensor of rank 3 has 27 components in a “row”, “column”, and “page” 3 dimensional “matrix”; and each component will have 3 subscripts.)

The three looks in snapshots show crystal clear the elements inside the “cube”. My infinite gratitude because only this way we can understand the multiple planes of action of the stress. In X-ray diffraction crystallography myriad of planes slice the volume that contains the protein structure. So one can pinpoint the atom at the exact plane and hence location in the protein. I could figure out that easily. But the components of a stress tensor seemed harder. Imagine all the components of the forces acting in a solid !!!
