The Bürstner Lyseo 644G motorhome is unique, it has a layout I have never seen before. There is a large rear lounge with a drop down bed. Burstner has done the 644G for a number of years and in previous incarnations you can see it on this channel, however the 2021 version is really thinking outside of the box!

Enough of my opinions, what do you think?

I live in a motorhome and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life. In my YouTube channel, I present the places I have been to, pieces of information related to vanlife and reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Robeta and others.

What a great layout. You can still have a bed made up without it taking up all the space.

Put your camera down and sort that bed out properly, we will wait. You haven’t done that bed set up justice. Perhaps the “bed extension” towards the back tilts up to become the bed head? Who knows? You usually do satisfactory walk throughs but this was a bit disjointed. I think it is a good layout/idea. This would be on my wish list. Cheers👍

You are allowed to either pause the filming or use a tripod so you have both hands to fold down the dinette. You really didn't do this nice coach justice.

I love the layout in the front with the separate shower and toilet - love it! (yes, a bit higher shower floor would be good. I do like love the round seating area. I guess we would not use it so much with just the two of us. So I would dig a bigger stationary bed in the back and a smaller seating area (on each side and open in back), with easy access to the bed. Could be cool with a drop down single bed. Or you just make up the seating area into a bed if needed. Overall...brilliant layout. Love the fridge!! And the gas stove top with 3 burners. Fab. And the storage space, clothing area and the storage in the floor!

That’s what I want in a van, rear lounge with drop down bed

The ladder is obviously used to climb into the bed not to put out fires.

I think it's not practicle! I always keep in mind ....what if your on the road and somebody get sick! Who needs to go to bed and wants some rest, then your convined to sit behind the steringwheel! And demolisch the lounge to not for me. I like what you call a german layout.

I really like this layout, especially a decent garage with a rear lounge. The only downside I can see is the payload and whether you could sit in the lounge if someone was in bed

I think that's one of the best layouts I've seen. The room it affords is excellent.

When you put the bed up and down then you destroy the window coverings. Not a thought out design. Not a fan of this camper.

Other manufacturers could learn from this layout, great ideas.

Why not put the camera down for a minute, instead of struggling.

Why doesn’t the US have any sort of Elevated bed lift. They don’t have beds in the from on the ceiling that electronically lift up and down. Like I’ve seen on your channel or in the back on other types. Ours are all complicated small B Vans with no Space Small bathrooms. This would Kill it in the US Market with a Double bed bunk with the Table converted to a Bed.

Thanks Alan, Very interesting! Like you, I was excited about the rear lounge/garage, seems like the perfect set up. If I was a single lady with a dog and a bicycle I’d be thrilled with this, and wouldn’t need the drop down bed, perhaps that would give more weight for things like ebikes, which are about 23kg each 😜

You could put the cushions on the small mattress at the back or just use the ladder

Loving that thing at the back . . . A perfect Day Bed . . Then turns into a perfect sleeping area for anyone with young children . . You don’t have to dismantle anything to eat, sleep, sit, or lounge . . Beautiful neutral colours . . Just perfect 🤩

Great layout. It's the width and breadth dimensions of the shower that I'm interested in. 😎

In theory, love the design of the bed as means you can sleep lengthways. Not sure how practical it would be in use though. As much as I like being able to shut off the cab, it becomes wasted space once you’ve arrived. Being able to turn the seats and use them has always been a draw for me. However, this design has certainly got me thinking.
