Jeep already builds a $25, 000 Jeep, its called the Wrangler. Look, when you continue to use the same parts, same engineering, year after year those costs go down. The Wrangler with a simple gas engine should be available for sale at $25, 000. The suspension is the same, the axles are the same, the body panels are the same, and you don't need to incorporate loads of technology. Basic seating surfaces and a soft top that only costs them $500 to make. Mismanagement is the reason the Wrangler costs $70K.

Come and see the new $25 000 Jepp today! Starting as low as $42 800 9.8%apr. Seriously how can you still trust announced prices years before launch, it's always 50% more when it hit the street.

The wrangler should be the $25k Jeep that saves the day.

What will help Jeep is putting out a quality product at an affordable price.

Stellantis is in trouble, not just Jeep. They have 14 different many to maintain.
Stellantis MSRP's in the US are running $10K higher than the industry average. My prediction is that Jeep and Ram will end up with new owners after Stellantis fails. Tavares is just not cutting it.

Axed the beloved Hemi, Challenger, Charger, and TRX. Raised prices on everything. Didn't release a new Dakota or mini trucklette to fight the Maverick. Didn't put the 392 or Hurricane engine in the Gladiator but DID take away its diesel option. Let the Bronco beat the Wrangler on value. Spent MILLIONS on developing/promoting the RAM REV Concept only to have 90% of its features axed on the production model. Amazingly these things didn't improve sales 🤔

Jeeps are to expensive and that's why the Jeep is having issues

Problem is if they put out something new for $25k and there's any sort of demand, dealerships will jack the price up so it's no longer a value to most.

I purchased both kids Renegade Trailhawks for $24k out the door. Jeep already had a $25, 000 vehicle...but those Stellantis idiots got greedy and did this to themselves. (For the haters...the Renegades are 4 & 5 years old without a single issue.) I still contend that the Renegade & Cherokee should have stayed and the Compass should have been axed.

All new car makers are convincing me that I really don't need--or want--a new car. I far prefer my used ones!

I seriously doubt this will help Jeep in any way.

They should have kept the Renegade and worked on powertrain performance, efficiency and quality.

Don’t they already have such compact SUV like Compass and Renegade??? Which they jack up the price way above 30k which no one buy? 😅

What they are trying to charge for a Jeep is completely insane..haven’t seen any discounts in the north

As others have said, they need a cheap base Wrangler. Not this thing...

The only way to turn them around is quality control. Their parts are junk and they know it.

Dealerships don't see a 25, 000 jeep. A base model Wrangler should be around 25-27 max. The pentastar is long in the tooth. The prices for lower trims don't really equate to anything breathtaking in terms of improvement. It shouldn't it's a base model Wrangler that has got away from it's core buyer.

You highlighted one of the underlying problems and may not even realize it. The dealership pricing model is just gross and vague at best. They are filled with salespersons who are trained more on sales tactics than the actual vehicle they're selling. One reason I prefer Tesla and Rivian is the transparent buying process. The traditional dealership model is a hot mess. I feel anxious, on guard, and defensive everytime I walk into a dealership. Doesn't matter the brand.
