I think if you only do videos of animations against ogres (large) you end up not seeing some animations that don't trigger on large targets.

I have seen an amazing kill animation when I played VC playing against lizardman. My vampirelord on dragon grabbed a carnosaur and body slammed it on the ground more of this CA please!!

People forgetting compared to previous games, models aren't all humanoids that are shaped exactly the same. I'd prefer other things as a priority than small stuff like this.

Might as well be real here, who on earth got the time to zoom in to a battle when you have to pay attention to the whole field with magic and a lots of shit going on. Take you eyes off for 5 seconds you back line gets stormed

I will take the infinitely superior variety of model skeletons and animation sets over having 3 to 4 unique sync kills per human on human fight.

There is no equivalent of the dragon fighting a dinosaur in any historical total war with "better" kill animations. I got bored of the human animations a decade ago because they changed so little. The lack of variety is so distinct by comparison that I have trouble going back to most historical total wars outside of a particular mood striking me.

Whining about this is just to whine for the sake of whining.

You get that making hundreds of unique skeletons each have sets of animations for every other combination of model would take thousands of tens of thousands of matched combinations right? Making an animation for Danial to fight an ogre would be nothing like an animation for him to tight a troll, or a giant, or any dino, or any bat monster, or any demon, or any....

they don't put animations for the performance of the game, in rome total war 2 there were animations, but now you can put the mods

I get that its a ton of work animating all these immensely varied units fighting specifically one another. But I wish CA would crowdsource the work of modders. There is a good animation mod and for some reason the conversion to Immortal Empires is difficult because of technical reasons. The idea of some herculean patch coming along adding unique animations to every unit would be the greatest thing ever. I would even pay for it. Like the Blood for the Blood god DLC.
Even with Shogun 2 they took shortcuts and had sword Ashigaru fight like expert Samurai martial artists or even worse had the Tetsubo club use the animations of the No-Dachi. Custom animations are hard. But they're worth it.

I can't see the problem. No one was killed so why would there be a kill animation?

I’m more disappointed that the ogres limbs and head don't come off. Basically, it's just basic WH3 without blood for the blood God dlc
