rep garbin has a point. gabby lopez is undeniably a filipino citizen by virtue of jus sanguinis having filipino parents. and he is also an american citizen by virtue of jus soli having been born in the US. but the question is, according to rep garbin, is a dual citizen allowed to own a mass media? a lot of debates on this matter for sure. but in a dual citizenship, as far as phil govt is concerned, a person is a filipino citizen. but then again, intelligent minds would raise this issue as a matter of national interest, just like the issue of citizenship in election matters.

No Questions to that.. but the issue here is ownership of mass media broadcasting is "limited only to Filipino" Gabby Lopez is dual Citizen both American-Filipino... It is Questionable. Kpag Nagaway Ang America at Philippines cnabi ng America handa k bang mamatay para sa bayan?? Nasaan ang Loyalty mo?? If Gabby Lopez pledges allegiance to the Philippines, then why is he still in possession of an American passport and has also admitted to have voted in the 2016 US elections...does that mean he has DUAL allegiance as well?
