What makes me think this "beef" is real is that for the past 2 years taylor has been pushing sabrina like hell. Grammys, vma, , the eras of tour... her and olivia taking 0 picture at the grammy when they were basically placed next to each other. Olivia didn't attend the tour. It’s definitely about Taylor Swift. It’s about the feelings she had when someone that she massively looked up to started competing with her like a fucking child and started to put songs out at the same time as Olivia and then accused her of plagiarism. It clearly tarnished their relationship because they stopped posting about each other on Instagram and then she invited Sabrina on her Era’s tour. Olivia talked about how it made her feel and she tried to play it off and just said it was a massive learning experience and she had to learn how to grow up in the industry a little bit, but it’s obvious that it hurt her feelings. The song describes perfectly what it’s like to fall out of love with your idol.

I feel sick because I want to just say that Taylor wouldn’t do such a thing but then I think about the déjà vu situation and I didn’t think she would do that either. And then I feel sick for Olivia for having to possibly go through that with someone she saw as an idol growing up
