Can't wait for the website to go live. This is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for. Up to now I've been buy Copart cars that need a little body work and mechanical work and flipping them. In Michigan, we can only buy clean title cars and are limited to 6 sales per year. So I would really like to get a used car dealers license so that I can start going to dealer auctions and getting cars that don't necessarily need a bunch of intense work. I've been doing pretty well so far but I'd really like to get a dealership going as a retirement gig.

I appreciate your videos bro .. are used to flip cars for a living before COVID-19 thankfully all the prices started to drop and I restart it 😎😎😎 you definitely have good information 🤘🏼🤘🏼.. have you thought about making a video about you buy any car off craigslist or offer up and flipping it ??🤔 would be cool 😎

I’ve seen cars in this video series sell for $1, 000-$1500 profit that needed a lot of work. Why wouldn’t you buy a $3, 900 Nissan that’s worth $5, 000 or more and doesn’t need anything?

Craig I signed up for your start you owner dealership I’m excited for it to kick off I worked for a guy right out of high school at a car lot and I loved it so much I really enjoy working around cars I just always thought it was super hard and hard to get any funding or even get a decent push forward to get a start in it without a lot of money but I’ve been learning a lot watching your videos I’m down in pa and car sell around this area so quick

Nice upgrade on the camera Craig. I used to go to Interstate Auto Auction when I started out as well.

You guys have it MADE in the US with the availability of used parts. You have it down pat. Up here? they want (most places) almost as much for used as new. For eg: I needed a 5.4L for my F150. I called around and lots of places had "good" used engines. Yeah, for $2500 to $3000. Know what it costs to buy a rebuilt? $3500.00 They are literally out to lunch.

Same as finding them. We have a system up here that lists all the recycling yards and you can search using software from the 80's. You see a yard that has a part listed, you call them up "no we don't have that" what? you have 5 listed on the site. Nope.

I saw a Cleetus McFarland video where he needed another GM 5.3L. He drove to his local yard, they had a dozen, he found one, they provided an engine trolley/lift, he pulled it out, $200 and he got a new engine. It ran when he hooked it up. Up here? F you, good luck with that...$2500 if you're lucky.

I follow a business called Standard Auto Wreckers. They have a parts dept as well as a you pick yard. They have "all you can carry" days. They are better than most, but again, they had a few trucks with the 5.4L listed but "none in stock".

Then you get into shipping. They rob you blind up here.

Don’t know about up there but down here in Florida it’s difficult to get a car at a public auction at a good deal, many dealers are also going to public auctions, many of them paying more than private party value because they are buy here pay here type dealers and can make their money by selling the cars overpriced and sometimes making even more money if the car is repossessed and they can sell the car multiple times

In pa, u r only allowed to see 4 vehicles a year if u r not a dealer. And u have to transfer the title when u buy. No open titles are allowed. That means the state wants their tax money. So u incur those costs as well. Not quite so easy to flip cars here.
