10:03 I believe is called Robert wordings first rule of programming which you know States has any sufficiently complicated concurrent program in another language contains an ad hoc and formally specified bug-ridden slow implementation of half of Erlang

22:15 you have them so basically managing the hard problems now Erlang an elixir don't necessarily make the easy things much easier than like a ruby or a Python but they make the hard things a lot easier。

23:15 they said wait that's it this is this is easy, OTP is easy they've kind of got that so it was really cool and then every single. manager and everybody got it after one day this big OTP beast and they were just stunned into silence it was a joyous teaching moment okay yeah yeah so.

28:21 why do I teach to beam my blanket Erlang I think what really attracted me to language is the fact that it changes the way you think and reason about programming and you're the biggest challenge in learning Erlang is actually unlearning all of the bad habits from other programming languages you happen to start thinking concurrently I taught was back in 1998 and that's what you did not want to be there they fought that Java which was the cool kid in town back then was the best thing since I'd spread and and was a very young me they're thinking that they must have had a really really traumatic experience learning it and learning Java that is and you know I was actually thinking I believe that any other programming language was gonna be as romantic and I had you know three weeks

What do they do after learning OTP and Erlang ?
I completed online Erlang course but there are no Erlang jobs that don't require 10+ years of relevant experience.
