London- no guns- 50% higher violent crime than New York- knives are the weapon of choice-11000 knife attacks per year. It is illegal to carry a pocket knife in the city limits of London, but that assures the bad guys you are defenseless.
The question is what are the economic that drive the attackers, can we fix that?
