I'll take my hat of to this guy, he works hard to deliver these videos.
Was listening to Jeff buys cars earlier, and he summed it up really.
Vlog, edit, fire the video off, view comments/ etc, etc, etc. .

I thought the flight seemed ok. Cannot blame the pilot or crew that the meal served was substandard. I really liked the talk they gave, thanking the passengers for choosing Virgin. More to life than food. Otherwise loved the video, great filming, appreciate the vlog

Any comments mentioning Lee's health are well out of order!
Unfortunately most airlines have cut back which affects the level of service they provide. The aviation industry has been battered by the impact of Covid.
It may be the case that the flight was particularly bad for Lee as he wasn't feeling well and that could be the reason for being extra critical of the lack of gratuities available unlike before.
I hope your health improves Lee and keep up the good work. The effort you put in to your videos is remarkable 👍👏

I’m flying to Boston in September from Heathrow on Delta. This is a new one for me. My worst many years ago was Air India.

It all started to go downhill when Virgin got into bed with Delta as a 49% shareholder. That food was disgraceful. The only way now is Upper Class but they severely restrict mileage redemptions on some routes. Just think, it could have been worse if you bought a virgin ticket and ended up on a decrepit Delta plane with even older crew. Hope you feel better soon.

I adore VA and their crew I have to be honest. I love their approach to allowing the crew to be who they are. I’ve had ice cream but only on the outbound/day flights, I suppose the only difference is I don’t fly in economy. I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience.

Right thank you again for the flight back video. May I praise up the Captain of Virgin today he was very friendly indeed. The photographer ie you Lee made an excellent job of the video. I didn't see the food served so cannot mark out of 10. To me though I would fly with Virgin myself as an outsider. Now Lee do as your told by Doctors Chill.out my friend and lets Go another day after a break Cheers Keith x

I flew that same JFK-Heathrow service back in April and have to say my experience was entirely positive. The aircraft ("Eliza Doolittle") was just two months old and was simply a delight. The seats were comfortable and the cabin crew very attentive. The food wasn't first class, but then I hadn't paid first class prices. But it was more than adequate for my needs and I had no complaints. In fact, my overall experience was so good that I've booked with them again to New York in a few months time.

Gotta say that flight looked pretty darn good from your video. New aircraft, seemed on time, good in seat video, great and pleasant service announcements. Food looked on par with other airlines. Don’t think you were fair at all with your video title.

Most airlines seem to be having a race to the bottom regarding the level of onboard service and the quality of the food and drink. Maximize profit and screw the customer.

the observation about the difference in quality of food UK-US vs US-UK is spot on. I have always found this with BA - not bad from the UK, awful from US. Nice video as ever!

I agree with your food comments - it isn’t what it used to be but disagree with the rest - it’s still a great airline with great staff. Times have changed but Virgin still has that bit of magic and is different from the others (in my view).
