Why can't hamas release hostages and peace could prevail. If they had a point to make the international community has understood the message. But they may note that freedom for Palestinians means internal democracy with dissent and free speech. Nationhood requires working with discipline and diligence and cooperation with neighbors. The gazans must build infrastructure and education and health. Now presence of hostages is giving a free run to Israel and even ICC 's credibility is fest diminishing because as a trial court they have failed to procure hostages for examination and testimony. Despite students protest in western univs Israel has no reason to relent on its aims on Gaza. Think tanks of Gaza and their advisors are weak in devising strategy and tactics.
