Inside the Gaza siege - an eyewitness report

The Gaza Strip has been sealed off by the Israeli military, and its residents - around 2.3 million Palestinians - are feeling the full force of their neighbour's wrath.

We can't get inside Gaza to report on what is going on, but our colleague - filmmaker Yousef Hammash - lives there.

It's with a heavy heart that I write this, witnessing the unimaginable pain and suffering that has befallen innocent people on both sides of this conflict. No words can truly encapsulate the depth of sadness felt when lives are upturned, and dreams are shattered amidst the chaos of war. The haunting images of despair, the cries of frightened children, and the grief of families who have lost loved ones transcend borders and remind us all of our shared humanity.
