How to use FurMark to benchmark your GPU 🔥🔥

The FurMark GPU benchmark is also known as the Donut, Fur Donut or burning Donut - it will burn your GPU if you are into overclocking and not careful. ;-)
This video shows you where to download and how to install Furmark GPU Benchmark. Running FurMark is also not too complicated, a few simple steps should be considered though:

2. After installation to a directory of your choice, it needs proper setting up to run the benchmarks.
3. Select the FurMark GPU Benchmark preset you want to run the benchmark on. It can run 4k, 1440p, 1080p and 720p. The common preset used is 1080p. See below for additional information on the relevancy!
4. Turn on GPU-Z or GPU Shark that come with FurMark to monitor temperatures, utilization, TDP and much more while running the GPU Benchmark.
5. See your final GPU Benchmark results for the particular preset and upload it to the FurMark homepage to share your score.

ATTENTION: Your Score will not scale with your preset resolution you chose. It will always depend on the frames, regardless of the used resolution. For comparison’s sake you should run FurMark GPU benchmark with the 1080p preset.

ADDITIONAL: If you want to stress test your GPU, FurMark can also help you with that. Simply select the "GPU Stress test" option and let it run. It will pester your GPU until you cancel it. You should be able to see a stable temperature after 5 minutes.

You have been warned. We take no responsibility for any damage FurMark does to your system. Use at your risk!

I followed your guide and ran a 1080p Benchmark and got a final score of 13006 points. Thanks for the guide.

I came here as I was wondering why Furmark was running indefinitely and wasn't giving me any scoring. Now I know that the GPU stress test button *is not* the benchmark.
Thanks for the help and for the short but informative video!

P.S. I got a score of 19440 on 1080p preset.
7689 on 3440x1440 4x MSAA.

I use Furmark regularly on my 2008 desktop PC to make sure everything’s working ok. I let it run for 4 hours once and had no problems. That was a one time stability test and it passed. Before the extended stability test, I removed the heatsink, sanded all the black paint off the underside, cleaned with alcohol and applied new thermal paste. (Why would ATI use black paint, which is an insulator, on a heat sink?!?). The card ran about 6 degrees cooler after paint removal and new thermal compound. I also added an extra LED case fan. The main downside to running these programs is they heat up the power supply. I bet that’ll be the first thing to break. I need this PC to run legacy games so I only do the benchmark now. You’ll love the score...102, lol!!! 102 every time!!

So is there no database to see which GPUs got better scores, or what setups scored better? Their scores page is just stuff from today, it says there's 1.2 million but it's just one page of stuff only from today, and no links to anything else.

I use this to check my undervolt and overclock temps.

GPU test score: 19445 points (324 FPS, 60000ms)
Max GPU Temp: 76C, I ran on a 1080p
Is this good or bad?

That program had killed my new amd hd5870 13 years ago. If you want stability test use more suitable and close real life scenario programs like 3d mark or ungine
