What you have to understand is that any given exoplanet is open to interpretation based off observations and calculations regarding habitability. To know for certain, we still need to make observations and measurements on the planet itself.

8:57 Plants on earth are green because they use the magenta part of the sun's spectrum (shine magenta onto them and they'll appear black, indicating that they're absorbing all of it). So under a redder sun the plants would probably still be green, maybe slightly shifted towards blue. If something appears red it reflects the red light (that's why we see it), thus it's not able to use it.

Bigger planets are unsuitable because increased gravity not only sucks, you can’t get off it as easily. Also a planet needs a magnetosphere to protect from radiation.
