There's a great bit in this episode where Chief Wiggam says "First we'll be rounding up your tired, then your poor, then your huddled masses yearning to breathe free".
Overall it's a dark episode. And yet another example of The Simpsons using a logical fallacy as a central plot point, to illustrate and educate the audience. Thanks for this video!

Poor choice for Red Hearing.

Accepting tens of millions of illegal alien migrants is extremely expensive to American tax payers. Restaurants and Agribusiness get the illegal alien's very cheap labor and pass on all the costs of education, subsidized housing, medical costs, policing, prisons to tax payers.

Does anyone think sub minimum wage illegal aliens pay for $30, 000 + cost of a Chicago Public School education per student. Yeah, we know Chicago Public School education sucks with CTU Chicago Teachers Union insiders like our new mayor Brandon Johnson taking all the money for themselves then avoiding class room teaching like he did.

But, yeah - the American welfare state is extremely expensive to pay for illegal immigrants.

This Simpson example of a Red Hearing fallacy doesn't work.
