I like how you specified drinking blood may not lead to smoking cigarettes. But does not refute the idea that it may lead to smoking Marijuana.

These days it is hard to dismiss the Slippery Slope, because of how often one thing has indeed led to another.

The slippery slope is only a fallacy when it is proven so. However, people constantly claim slippery slopes tend to be fallacious when they're being proven right

I wish more classrooms taught using video examples. It clicked 100x faster after watching this video. This 2 minute video made me understand in a matter of minutes what would normally take me half an hour to fully comprehend listening to a lecture or reading a textbook

Slippery Slope: occurs when people ignore reality and pretend slippery slope is a fallacy.

I don't know in what world does "could" mean "inevitable". It's a stretch. It illustrates the point, but the author of the video should at least be aware of the difference.

I mean, we all saw blizzard entertainment release a digital store item, and everyone said it was going to lead to terrible things. Guess what, it did. So it's not a fallacy if the signs are visible.

Can we just appreciate that Abe Simpson just wanted to kill Bart, just because? 😂😂😂

And yet, somehow, it still becomes true!

Either its not a fallacy or this is a bad definition because it is not fallacious to say that if you like public bathroom floor tiles, you will get very sick.

It’s a probability not a fallacy. Slippery slope is one thing that can lead to another. Not a must but an unfavorable probability. Whoever labeled it as a fallacy was fallacious.

Marge is right. Bad behaviors are the result of not setting boundaries. All bad behaviors have the same root causes, so yes, there's a good chance Bart will actually engage in other bad behaviors, smoking being one of them

"The two have nothing to do with each other." Nothing? Zero? Zilch? Well, we wouldn't have dragtime story hour for tots without gay marriage being legalized.

So one did lead to the other.

You can argue one is right, both are right, or both are wrong, but one definitely did lead to the other.

I thought grandpa wanted to kill Bart for being a vampire, but instead runs away when he is that creature

Fallacy Fallacy
A person coming to the hasty opinion that just because someone has made a Fallacy there for the person is wrong. Even know the person is right.

You put words in Marge's mouth, and I won't stand for it. She said that tomorrow Bart COULD be smoking, not that he WILL.
Furthermore, once social norms are no longer sufficient to keep the boy from drinking other people's blood of all things, it's not unreasonable to assume that he no longer heeds them, and to be aware of the possible implications of which Marge merely picked one example for illustrative purposes.
Not only is the automatic classification of a slippery slope argument as a fallacy disingenuous, it's also debatable that one was made here.
