My friend had "In the morning when i rise" posted over her bed. She was an amazing, caring, blue-skies, point-to-Jesus, mother, daughter, sister, and wife. She always spoke of finding hope and love in Jesus, every morning, every day.

When suffering from illness, then first, then second organ transplant, she felt alone, but really never felt alone; she still pointed to Jesus and spoke of His love and compassion to her and her family.

My friend passed this year, waiting for the third transplant, a young wife and mother - a person who's love of life and the Giver of life, was always pointing to Jesus. When she came to die, she wasn't afraid. She went to be with the One who she was always looking at and pointing others to - Jesus.

I've always loved this song, but love it ever so much more now. Thank you for creating this video. My prayer, and the one I'm sure my friend would have, is that more people will just simply turn to Jesus.

I remember Fernando in the 90's. I used to listen to him going and coming home from work as the radio played it often those days. This is one of the singers that touched my heart.
