This is The MOST EXTREME Car Detailing Project You Will EVER See! Part 1

This is the most extreme car detailing project of a 600,000 mile Lexus LS430. We tear the entire interior part back to a bare interior and start from the very beginning YouTube Style!

If you've missed the first parts of this series, find it in the link below

We finally made it this far in this project! I cannot stand driving this car for another day with the sad shape that it is in. So we partnered with @ChicagoAutoPros to completely restore this interior!

This project started with a total impulse buy from @DougDeMuro's @carsandbids and everything went off the rails from there! I am determined to restore this @lexus LS430 to it's former glory. Taking it back to the pursuit of perfection that birthed it and beyond!

Part 2 is coming soon! There was a delay in filming due to the holiday weekend. Stay tuned for part 2 and hearing the 600, 000 mile LS430 becoming a car again!

This is the luckiest 600, 000 mile car out there. The amount of work and love given to it makes our cars envious. My favorite car so far.

I’ve watched a LOT of detail videos. Having a master mechanic help with the detail is a 1st. This is a pure restoration. Wow.

This reminds me of being a car audio installer in the late 90's. Taking interiors apart is time consuming. Love this video

Man… This is better than any TV show. Thanks for continuing your journey with this 600, 000 mile refresh.

The amount of familiarity and knowledge this man has to take a car apart to this extent is insane.

I can only imagine what the original assembly line technicians must have had to do to assemble this interior in the first place. Wow.

How the hell do you remember how to take each and every part of the interior out by memory??? Holy God! The car is over 20 years old and you still remember all of those removal instructions??? No wonder why everyone across the country brings their Toyota/Lexus to you. I tip my hat to you my friend. 🎩🎩🎩

I love that you place commercial breaks at actual breaks in the content. With a (very) little effort, YT let's every creator do this. NO ONE DOES... except for you! Bravo!!! Quality all the way!!!

This is not a detail, this is a restoration!

OMG, are you kidding me? The amount of knowledge and experience to take this car apart like that is super amazing.

I'm speechless. This does show how much engineering and work went into the manufacture of quality cars, and what quality looks like. This of course was before most brands cottoned to be able to use parts made from cheese. One way to tread lightly on the planet would be to build stuff that lasts.

After watching your videos, I wish you lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Mechanics like you are exceedingly rare, but you are a living example of absolutely giving your all to the work of your hands.

I can only dream about similar detailing in my car.
Great job. Fingers crossed.

I think car nut would have been an amazing surgeon!
If he can take apart a car completely and put back together and remember everything perfectly I think he has the knowledge of a cardiologist.

You, my friend, are insane! Yet it is a fantastic series. Your dedication and determination is legendary.

Those speakers aren't "blown" as such, it's just that the foam surrounds have deteriorated with age. Technically a speaker is "blown" when the power input from the amplifier exceeds the capacity of the speaker and melts the speaker's voice coil.
I'm learning a lot from you too so kudos. Just finished doing a very similar (although not quite as complete) cleanup on a fifteen year-old Suzuki van I bought last month. Only 68k miles/110k km... so like new compared to yours.
I'm very happy to see this being done right... and then some.
All the best from Japan as always, stay well.
