Hey everyone ...

I've had all these issues and as I understand it you can now upload to SoundCloud as long as it's proper DJ mix set and not remixes of individual or individual tracks . I tried it last week with no issues, as for YouTube it sucks on copyright .

Thanks Dj Blighty! I appreciate you sharing the knowledge! Wish I hadn’t invested so much time, energy and money on soundcloud. I try to be as creatives and authentic as possible, so as not to give out the impression that I’m being a “rip off artist” but got my first Copyright infringement warning on SoundCloud recently. It was for using a main stream song. Bummer. Now it’s time to mix it up and move to mixcloud! Thanks mate.

Mixcloud will also not tell you if they pull a mix if it has three tracks (of same artist) which was frustrating

You could check which tune has a copyright by uploading it on a second account.

You would have thought that Facebook would of taken the Mixcloud idea and made their own

I remix every song, and mixcloud, only recognizes 0-2 songs, per 30 minutes.

Mixcloud is terrible in some ways if you post mixes as you can’t have 3 tracks from same artist in the same mix which is super restrictive

Just add the copyright owner's info and you should be fine (ie Song name, Artist name, Their website)
