I could not get this done until I watched your video. Already had Hyper-V installed and installed Debian 12 OK so had some idea. I just followed your proceed to the letter and FreeBSD now installs.

I think running Windows as a quest in FreeBSD is a better option :)

I've been wanting to run FreeBSD as my main/daily driver OS for ages, but it's different enough from Linux that there're things missing that bother me... that being no proper Discord client, and setting up/getting audio devices detected is more of a chore than I want to deal with. Cool video though.. Always fun to watch you do stuff.

how can I make hyper-V change the window size, the window is small to work with. thanks for the great tutorial, got it to work effortlessly, never knew windows provides a free built-in useful VM.

I am looking to setup dev environment for freebsd locally rather than having a remote server.

Would you please show us how to install XORG under HyperV Freebsd14-guest so that the XFCE or whatever can work as seamlessly under HyperV as it does under VirtualBox? At the moment what I have under HyperV is similar to VirtualBox just before I install the VirtualBox guest additions. So when I resize the Guest Window the XFCE inside does not follow filling up the window.
