Compressions are stopped only when analysing rhythm and delivering shock, not when applying pads, That is how you minimize interruptions to less than 10 secs.

@Jimthemedic Thank you for comment. You are right that infant-child AED pad should be placed anterior-posterior position. The infant-child AED pad is for children under 8 years old or weight less than 55 lbs or 25 kgs. Above this size, adult AED pad should be used in right upper chest and apex position

Good, however my only criticism would be that it would make more sense to be at the head end when doing CPR. That way you could rest the BVM on your arm while you do the compressions and then switch back to the ventilations much more quickly...minimising "hands off' time and ruining all the good work of compressions.

Place aed pads in the anterior-posterior position with children.

@ed13579 new research has led to a change in AHA guidelines. New PALS is 15:2 for 2 person, and 30:2 for one person. you can go to AHA site for professionals if you want more info
