I have owned a 30i for 5 years now and it confirms it's reputation as a very well built and reliable car. The performance is adequate as a daily driver's car. I am considering the new hand shift model in combination with the 6 cylinder engine but the 8 speed automatic is so good and I use the car daily, also in heavy traffic. The other drawback of the hand shift model are the higher revs on motorways.

Hi just took possession of the 30i variant 2 days now and noticed that the breaks had to be mashed exceptionally hard for the car to stop and on all 3 occasions it stopped centimetres rather than meters away from the car in front. Anyone with similar issues ? UK. Version
