Great video. As a teenager I worked on a bull ranch. When I started I assumed all horses were trained to ground tie. After a five mile walk back to the house I taught their horses to ground tie. Different technique - not relying on trust of horse.

Love this! Ground tying means you have the horse’s mind. If you have his mind you will have his feet. Mostly.

We have a trainer starting this Saturday to help us with our horses. We eventually would like to start trail riding since we live in the Yosemite foothills. There are many horse friendly trails.❤️🙏

I have a 17 year old gelding and I can leave him standing in the ring for a long time. I wasn't sure if it was because he doesn't care about me or he's just being a good boy ahah. Thank you for this vid!
