Unexplained underachievement is the most telling symptom that someone may have ADHD.

But, it's a wonderful thing because once the answer is ADHD, that underachievement skyrockets and turns into overachievement.

Almost half of my family has some kind of undiagnosed mental disorder that I’m now starting to see might be ADHD. A few family members have already been diagnosed, including my sister. I was convinced for so long that I didn’t have it because I was in honors and IB classes, but when I failed all the tests seemingly without cause (I studied but I did procrastinate A LOT ) i started to suspect something was up. I don’t have much money so I’ve been looking for some kind of sign that I really should get tested and this was it. Thank you!

Do you mean under achievement as in... your really smart but not getting great grades when you should be? ...because I think I have underachieved in my life I diffinately thought I would have done so much better in life. Im just left feeling I suck at life. I can't execute ideas and always wondered why other people could. I do suffer from anxiety so I just put it down to that.
