Thanx for the explanation. Just to clear - why did you change temp, which was centered around 24, to centered temp, which was centered around 0 (you previously said that 0 degrees temp is not meaningful)?

Thanks a lot, is it also possible to this this with two power regressions? (Compare coefficients)

If the only thing I care about is knowing that the slopes are different, can I stop at the first model or does sp have to be significant? Meaning in your first model, could I just stop if the only thing I wanted to know was were the slopes different? Or must sp be sig. for me to make any conclusions about slope?
